Privacy policy
This policy explains what data Fofo Express processes when you use the shop app, the courier app, the delivery page sent to customers and this website, why, and how to exercise your rights.
Data processed
Shop and courier accounts: phone number, last and first name, email address if you add one, shop details, pickup addresses, mobile money payout numbers.
Couriers: supporting documents (ID, licence, registration, photos), vehicle, and locations while online and during jobs.
Recipients: name, phone number and delivery location provided by the shop or entered by the customer through their link.
Deliveries and payments: statuses, proof of handover (time, location, code, photo), wallet movements and mobile money operations.
Devices: notification token, device model and sign-in dates, to send notifications and list signed-in devices.
Why we use it
To carry out deliveries: matching with a courier, navigation, tracking and proof of handover.
To handle money: collections, pay-ins, withdrawals and reconciliation with the payment aggregator.
To secure accounts and operations: sign-in codes, PIN, fraud prevention, disputes and alerts.
To keep you informed: WhatsApp messages, notifications and emails about your deliveries and account.
Who it is shared with
Between users, only as needed for the delivery: the courier sees the recipient’s address and first name, the shop sees the courier’s position during the job.
With our technical providers: hosting, file storage, WhatsApp and email delivery, notifications, maps and the mobile money aggregator. They act only on our instructions.
Courier documents are encrypted and only viewed by the team in charge of approvals.
